KIDS HAND OUT ANOTHER HAMMERING
Monday 19th November 2007
by Ron Norris
The Rangers' under 18's juggernaut motored
on this weekend as the Youth Team handed out another hammering
to keep them top of the Puma Youth Alliance table.
After winning three on the bounce and sticking
seven past Barnet last weekend, Gillingham were the latest victims as
they fell to a 5-0 defeat at the hands of The R's.
Romone Rose and Antonio German both grabbed a brace
each with
Cyrus Vanterpool adding the fifth.
Rangers now lead the table by one point from second
placed Rushden whilst Luton slip to third.
Next week attention turns back to the Youth
Association Cup as we move into the knock out stages. Our opponents in
the second round are Luton Town, at Harlington. We'll have news on that
one next Monday. |
