THE KIDS ARE GOOD
FOR CHRISTMAS
Monday 17th December 2007
by Ron Norris
After the disappointment of another early
FA Youth Cup Exit the under 18's bounced back in fine style in
their last two fixtures to end their playing year on a wining
note.
The last two weekends have seen the kids have two
away games in the Puma Youth Alliance League and they won both, scoring
six goals in the process and keeping two clean sheets.
First up was Leyton Orient last Saturday, that one
ended 4-0 in favour of The R's thanks to a Billy Coyne strike and a Josh
Parker hatrick.
Then, this weekend, the lads travelled to
Colchester and came away with a 2-0 with Matt O'Brien and Aaron
Morgan-Cummings scoring the goals.
The two wins leaves Rangers nicely ensconced at the
top of the table going into the Christmas break. They now have the only
unbeaten record in the league and lead the table by a massive nine
points.
League fixtures resume in just under two weeks time
when we welcome Northampton Town to Harlington on January 5th 2008. |
