ROMONE RAMS
HOME TO SEE OFF COBBLERS
Rangers’
under 18’s continued their recent unbeaten run this weekend as
the South East Conference campaign begins to wind down.
A single
goal from Romone Rose was enough to give Steve Gallen’s side all
three points against Northampton Town on Saturday morning. It
was the young forwards third goal in five starts at this level.
The Cobblers lost their ‘keeper to injury shortly after the goal
hit the net but Rangers found themselves unable to increase the
score line further.
Decent
result aside, a big positive for Rangers was the continuing
returns of Matthew Hislop and Pat Kanyuka, who both got another
game under their belts as they look to make an assault on the
first team picture next season.
We have two
under 18’ fixtures left to play and both are away from home.
This coming Saturday we travel to Champions Brighton and the
season ends the following week at Leyton Orient.
