Joe Gallen's under 18's picked up their first win of the season on Saturday morning, beating Cambridge away by a goal to nil.

The team was once again without some of its more established names, including keeper Sean Thomas, who is on loan at Hastings and defenders Pat Kanyuka and Ryan Johnson, midfielder Scott Donnelly and striker Luke Townsend, who are all earmarked for the reserves game on Tuesday afternoon.

Jonathan Munday scored the only goal of the game after 28 minutes to earn Rangers all three points.
