UNDER 18's
BEATEN BY BRIGHTON
After the FA Youth Cup exit,
Rangers' youngsters were back in league action on Saturday but
were soundly beaten by an inform Brighton side.
Joe Gallen
was able to name a near full strength team for the visit of the
league leaders, with eight of the side having featured against
Villa last Wednesday.
Tim
Sandercombe returned in goal with the defensive line up Karl
Yelland, Adrian Goode and Jonathan Munday joined by under 16's
player Adrian Moyles at left back. Matt O'Connell, Harry Smart,
Stefan Bailey and Bradley Bubb made up the midfield four while
Ricky Sappleton and Ray Jones were the big man - big man pairing
upfront.
Brighton
proved too strong for The young R's though, having taken an
early lead they went 3-0 up at the break. Jonathan Munday scored
his fourth goal in an impressive season to make it 3-1 in the
second half but Albion put the result beyond doubt with their
fourth a few minutes later.
QPR:

18's are in action again on Saturday when they travel to face
