Septembers Monthly Awards Vote

There were only a handful of games scheduled and September’s fixtures are already complete which means it’s time to ask you to pick your favourite moments from the last few weeks of QPR action.

We might have played a match less in September but there is certainly a wider choice in each of this month’s categories than you had to pick from in August.

Last month saw a new look QPR side gel rather quickly and, although not always getting the results we desired, at least showing us that this season has a lot more to offer than perhaps we thought possible a few weeks ago.

The three games brought about a mixed bag of results but a fairly consistent set of performances. Newcastle were first to meet QPR 2011 version 2.0 and could consider themselves fairly lucky to have taken a point back home with them. It might have been a goalless affair but it was a great evening that saw The R’s officially reborn both on and off the pitch.

Wolves were next up for Neil Warnock’s side and they were caught cold by a rampant Rangers’ side who ran riot and secured an impressive 3-0 win at Molineux. The month’s fixtures were then completed with Sunday’s controversial 1-1 home draw with Aston Villa. But which of these gets your pick for match of the month?

You have three times the amount of goals to choose from this month. Tommy Smith’s loan strike won the August vote by default, this time though you have three strikes to select from although they are all from the same match. Joey Barton, Ali Faurlin and DJ Campbell were the scorers in the win at Wolves and one of these will be your QPR goal of the month winner.

Finally which player impressed you most across these three matches? Perhaps it was one of our six new signings that really stood out for you, Shaun Wright-Phillips? Joey Barton perhaps? Or did the likes of Taarabt, Faurlin and Derry, so important last season, continue to show you that they have just as much to offer this term? The choice is yours and there are seventeen names to pick from.

To have your say simply complete the form below, include your name and your choices for each category (all the players, games and goal from September are listed on the drop downs) and, when you are happy with your selection, press submit to send us your vote.

We’ll announce the winners on the site next week - thanks for taking part.
