OLLIE

A 35% win rate this time around on a par with ARRY.
We sacked JFH after 16 games and 20 points.
Is OLLIE the man to take us forward next season.
I ask because I have my doubts recently. :tu

I can see why you would be having doubts Pamm but I feel that watching the football now is far better and there is probably a brighter future because of the better squad and tactics. I am not saying Ollie is perfect, he clearly is not, but the tactics are better and the team confidence is much higher than under JFH.

Hmmm...looking at the fixture list I doubt he will succeed! :wink

I personally can't see us winning another game this season
Couple of draws at most due to Ollie experimenting
Ollie is a great bloke and improved us slightly with a couple of good signings
But we will always be just a midtable side under him

I think he will do just fine, one or two more coming in this summer with at least 3 or 4 going out to try and balance the books.

No parachute payment anymore so we have to work on a shoestring, I feel the club is heading in the right direction after years of mis-management and leadership. You have to give Ollie a full season and then judge. As everyone is mentioning above, lots of experimental sides with integration of youth players, I get the impression everything is now aimed at next season.

It has to be next season we need to get off to a flyer .
If we're not in top 6 by XMAS the button will be pushed.

You may be right Pamment but I hope not. We're not big spenders any more so it's about building. It feels to me that things are moving in the right direction. I'm hoping for a promotion challenge next season but would be happy with some steady progress on finances and performance. Assuming that we don't spend big over the summer, top half will be OK for me.

It should not be about the start of next season but rather the finishing! Bear in mind that every top team has been beaten by lesser mortals this season, so we should worry more about our final position. I do not know about the rest of you but I would expect a Top 10 finish, no excuses. Given that Ollie has made sensible transfers so far, the close season should complete the cull/loans/transfers and enable the pre-season to focus upon his style of play.

It's not where the fans think we should finish but the board.
We were expected to be nudging play offs this season.
So we can't keep pushing things aside.
To make money you need top flight. :tu
