DERBY COUNTY v QPR 1-0 FT

Postby pamment8 » Tue Mar 28, 2017 8:41 am

Ollie will want revenge for the home defeat in December.
We are the form team but derby under new management.
Anything from this game will be good result. :tu

Confidence is high after the positive results recently. Only black cloud is that Luongo has picked up an injury on international duty and needs treatment, so he is in doubt. (Mind you he has not played well after returning each time he has played for Oz...) :grump2

That's what I don't like about the international break, you get players who play, pick up knocks.
I think the 2 week gap in games can interrupt a team if your on a good run
It's a tricky game at Derby but a game we can get at least a point from on recent form.

I think we can win this one. We have nothing to lose, we are not expected to win, derby still have a slim shout of the play offs.

Hard one to predict but on our current form you'd hope to get something out of the game.

New manager in his first home game since being appointed.
Had a two week break to get familiar with the team and get the players into his mindset.
Talking about chunks of games, small targets and minimising playoff talk.

No-brainer dull 0-0 on a Friday night.

That's not what you predicted though! Is that a double-bluff or a change of heart?

If we go to DERBY and upset the applecart the manager may be gone by the end of the season.
We know how the owner over reacts to defeats. :tu

Now that sounds very familiar.

I can't see it being a 0-0, they have a lot to play for and we are on a high, there is goals in this game just difficult to work out how many, and to whom and who will get them. Apart from that its easy enough to predict.

After setting off at 04:30 this morning and driving through France I am hoping I can connect to Skype Sports via the hotel wi-fi... Nervous but feel the RS are worthy of a draw at least! :yay
