QPR v Rotherham

Postby kingfisher » Thu Mar 16, 2017 2:36 pm

I will be at the match (last before leave for Spain again) so there will be no interactive score update on the subject line! :wink

OK, here we go with my guess at what the squad will look like:

Smithies
Furlong Onuoha Lynch Bidwell
Manning Hall
Ngbakoto Freeman Washington
Sylla

I am assuming that Ollie would want to rest Furlong but Perch is unavailable; but Luongo, Wzsolek & Smith are rested but on the bench. Thoughts?
Hoops are coming home, coming home!

Yes likewise I think Smith will start, there is no reason to rest players like he did against Barnsley with 2 weeks off ahead.

We were very good against Leeds so should remain unchanged unless we have picked up injuries.

Although saying that Holloway has a man crush on Perch so it is possible he could replace Furlong.

I hope he picks the strongest team we can and we give them a spanking, need to go in to the 2 week break on a high and ready to go unbeaten in the final leg.

They won't just roll over when they still have a slim chance of safety.
But we should be fielding our strongest team.
With the emphasis on attack. :tu

You just know what's gonna happen
Of The handful of games they've won will do a double on us
We can't underestimate Rotherham or field a weak side
They know how to beat us and we have to turn up
For Rotherham it's sh@t or bust and they have nothing to lose
No bookies will tip them to win,but we have a habit of losing to crap teams

Sylla comes in for Washington.

Ngbakoto also starts in place of Wszolek.

Suprised he changed it after a great performance last week but it worked last time.

Fancy Sylla to score first now! Damn.

1-0 already on 5 minutes, Matt Smith!

Then Rotherham level on 13 minutes, Newell with a rocket from distance.

Then Freeman puts us back in front on 15!

Cracking start to the match!

4-1 with 15 minutes of the restart! Rampant Rangers.

Ngbakoto from the spot then Luongo heads in from Ngbakotos cross! Luongo finally gets his first QPR goal.

Ngbakoto starting to be the player we thought we were signing too. Playing a big part!

You've got to feel a bit sorry for Rotherham
They will be officially down in a couple of weeks
Did they have many fans today at loftus road,a long journey back
We look like a side with goals now
Smith and freeman have made a difference and ngbakoto seems like a new signing
Only bad thing I'm going down into the drop zone in prediction league
I was only one who thought Rotherham would win :cry

265 Rotherham fans apparently.
Ngbakoto has lost a bit of timber and seems more settled.

Thought I'd picked Washington as 1st goalscorer - checked after the 1st goal and was happily surprised to see it was Smith and 0-15. :-D
