QPR Match Prediction Competition 2016/17 – Match 35 Results

It was a round with a few big scores and a lot of no -or low - scores!

qprallan, ranger-boy and QpRsmith did well to predict the 2-1 win but nobody got Bamba as first scorer.

ashqpr, Varc, ranger-boy, QPRBex and QpRsmith got the 31-45 first goal time

kingfisher, singlespeed, ashqpr, Rosco Bosco and ranger-boy (again!) got the bonus match 1-0 Blackburn win correct

ranger-boy's name was cropping up a lot there and his best score of the season with 12 points was well timed after his absence last week as he would have dropped into the wooden spoon zone without a score. In the end he is up to 14th.

It appears that stanley67 and SuperHoop have long since given up, which is sad, but the fight to avoid the last wooden spoon is our best ever scrap at the bottom. ashqpr who occupied the now dreaded 19th spot scored 9 points and claws his way ahead of Varc but on goal difference. When you consider that the gap between the top 2 is 11 points, the gap between the bottom 6 active players is just 10 points! It is anybody's guess who will end up 19th.

Speaking of the top as mentioned the gap is down from 12 to 11 points between myself and Ghost but the top 5 only shared 2 points between us.

QpRsmith had a good week with 9 points moving QpRsmith from 12th to 7th due to how close the field is.

surrey chad is the biggest loser this round dropping from 7th to 10th - his lowest position for a considerable amount of time, but with 8 points between 8 players and 2 more matches this week ahead everybody in that group won't be sure if they will be heading up or down the table!
