Unofficial message board for all things QPR - Queens Park Rangers FC.

45 mins: ⚽️ Goal. Preston North End equalise through Aiden McGeady as he curls past Smithies from 18-yards. [1-1]
Sounds like a good goal :bumbed

QPR have had two good shouts for penalties ignored (is this a Championship trend developing)!

Second Half sees PNE succeeding in pressing our back 4/5 so stretching the midfield and they are seeing benefits. Onuoha has saved the day once and now culminated in a the ball getting past Smithies but declared offside again - phew!

Subs warming up: 67 mins: Double QPR substitution. Matt Smith and Daniel Furlong ⬅️, Idrissa Sylla and Yeni Ngbakoto ➡️. [1-1]
Commentary believes they have gone 4-4-2 with Syslla & Ngnakoto up front. Let's see some running around by the latter!

Preston goal disallowed. We are "All over the place" currently according to the radio but remains 1-1 at 65 minutes.

Yuk! poor defending for once (missing Smith?)
71 mins: ⚽️ Goal. Preston North End are ahead as Jordan Hugill latches onto Smithies initial save to smash home from close range. [2-1]

72 mins: QPR sub. Kazenga LuaLua ⬅️, Jamie Mackie ➡️. [2-1]

As in the earlier game against PNE we are finding they are complaining a lot and falling down easily, all whilst fouling without penalty; and now 78 mins: RED CARD! QPR down to 10 men as Luke Freeman picks up a second yellow card. [2-1]
Seems LUke Freeman was responding to earlier kick at him....

Another game were we played well but could not finish half-chances... Not helped of course by freeman's (Bartonesque) sending off, but pleasing to see how the team continued to push for that elusive second goal even whilst down a player and exposed defensively. Weather sounded horrible too!

Well we are treading water in the league.
So nothing much more we can do this term.
Makes fans forum a bit of a time waste.

Not sure that is true Pamm as we can still debate games surely? From the radio commentary it would appear we had another great start (possibly because PNE could not understand our set up) but that was negated by them countering or play with a hard press. Taking Furlong & Smith off with fresh forwards seemed to make sense until Freeman was sent off, after which QPR were always at risk as they pressed on but never gave up. A game with lots of action that should justify a good debate I would have thought!

Plus we rarely win when Perch plays and I guess he will be stepping in for Hall like Kingfisher. Would love some win percentages with and without Perch.

Correct on both counts - wish I wasn't.

The season is pretty much over for us, we'll win and lose in equal measure until the end of the season. But hopefully we can build some confidence to take into next season.

We'd of got at least a point if Washington played
We need to learn to finish teams off as Cardiff and warnock will do us no favours in our next game

It is true they do not have the attitude yet to finish off teams when they are on top. I wonder if it matters so much that Hall and/or Washington plays when we are winning? It certainly seemed nerves and a lack of confidence became evident when they levelled at 1-1. I wanted us to finish at 10th position or above, but I really cannot see this if we are so fragile.... :stare

I was not suggesting we do not debate games on here.
But the fans forum the club holds .
All we will get from that is we are planning for next season.
And an update on new ground a day training ground.
As far as yesterday goes we need only buy defence minded players in summer windows.
Similar to HILL AND DERRY those who lead and defend. :tu

You are right about that Pamm. We need to look at another CB if we are going to play 3 each game, and I still feel we are a RB short...
