Perch

His defending on the first goal yesterday was abysmal. Ball watching and too late to spot the runner.

He is the ultimate utility man i.e. not good enough in a specific position!

Since he joined I've been massively underwhelmed. How bad were Wigan for him to get player of the year 2 years in a row?

His decision making is woeful like diving into challenges when on a booking. Considering his age and experience he doesn't read the game well.

Hope he only had a 2 year deal and we can let him walk at the end of the season.

I think he's better suited to the DM role that Hall was occupying before IH rolled the dice on the formation yesterday. He's been outshined by Furlong at RB and he shouldn't be a CB as he's not strong enough to hold off a striker.

I personally think he's better further up.
The further up north the better. :tu

In all fairness, nobody in this strange new defence formation knew who should be doing what and Izzy Brown took full opportunity of that! For example, time and again I saw Luongo back off from a challenge and position himself just in front of the Goal Area on the RHD side. It seems we cannot win if we rely upon positioning or try to hunt in pairs against a class side like Huddersfield (whose passing was superb)... :tongue
The other point I would raise is that Ollie is apparently a great fan of Perch.... :confused
