Zesh arrived from Fulham in August 2006 in the wake of Danny Shittu's departure to Watford. After an exciting debut game his performances rapidly went downhill and the boss seemed to have given up with him a long time after the fans did. Enjoyed something of a comeback under Luigi De Canio but was promptly loaned out in the summer of 2008 to Blackpool as part of the Kaspars Gorkss deal.
