Rangers apparently beat a host of clubs to Bolder's signature when he joined in January 2007. A key part of Gregory's Derby side a few years back he was only too keen to once again link up with his former boss. Since Gregory's departure he has seen his first team opportunities become limited and has even been replaced as club captain by Martin Rowlands.
