MATCH RATINGS
RESULTS - ONE EXTREME TO THE OTHER
Thursday 1st May 2008
by Ron Norris
The match ratings for
the last two games, our home win against Charlton and the heavy away
defeat at Norwich are both online now. As you would expect they are
polar opposites of each other!
The Charlton game
gives everyone fair to good marks with six players scoring in the 7's
including three quarters of the back four. Interestingly Martin Rowlands
scored the highest average mark but it was Gavin Mahon who received most
votes for man of the match. Subs aside it's Hogan Ephraim who rated
worst for this one with an average score of 6.31.
Norwich meanwhile was
a poor performance and this shows in one of the lowest marked games of
the season. Nobody even managed to break into the 6's and seven players
were in the 4's. Michael Mancienne was your man of the match for this
one and also the highest rated player on the day with an average score
of 5.77. The lowest rated player was Damion Stewart but he was only on
the pitch for about 6 minutes, other than that it's Lee Camp and Zesh
Rehman who score the worst.
Over the two games De
Canio has gone from a near 7.5 for Charlton to a 4.3 for Norwich. Get
used to that pressure for next season Gigi!
Here are the scores
in full.
