The winning goal as described in our match report "The opening goal came in the eleventh minute and it was absolutely stunning. Cerny knocked a ball out toward the left flank and Taarabt took it on his chest in his own half with facing his own goal. He quickly turned and breezed past one challenge before skipping over the next and sticking it through the legs of the next Preston players to try and challenge him. Everything now opened up in front of him and he took aim from twenty five yards a bent a sumptuous curling strike past Lonergan into the top corner. The goal of the season contender that Buzsaky had scored against Barnsley had already been surpassed."

And finally onto Wayne Routledge's continued domination of the player of the month award. It's his third straight win, an achievement only matched on two other occasions that we've been running these votes and clearly he is still impressing plenty of Rangers fans. That said he didn't run away with it, Adel Taarabt might consider himself unlucky to finish second this month but he can take comfort in the fact that it was only by a handful of votes.
